I just received a dvd of my now deceased dog and it is a
vob file format from ati. When I tried importing it to
windows movie maker 2, it told me it was not compatible
and could not be used. Is there a way to change these
files to something compatible? Any help would be
appreciated as I would like to make a movie of his Life.

Thanks Terry

AFAIK, MM2 cannot read VOB files... You will need a conversion program to
convert them into a more manageable format such as a standard mpeg2 or even
an AVI, though uncompressed would be better as any other format will result
in some picture degradation...

Best place for you to visit is www.dvdrhelp.com where they have articles on
how to do the conversions, plus links to the required software.
