Restore point take two

Thismorning I created a restore point. I can get to it
but now it wont go back past today.
todays date is the only one highlighted and it wont go
back past it. I need to go back further because of a
software problem and I cant remove it because or "add and
remove" An installation support file could not be
installed. The system cannot find the file specified".
Any clearer Rick?

It may be that your System Restore settings are using to little room on your
harddrive, such that each System Restore point you make requires the
previous ones to be deleted to make room. Go into System Properties and
check the System Restore settings. You might want to increase the Disk space
to use and see if that helps. Unfortunately, it won't get you your old
restore points back, as they are gone for good.
