Can't print to EPSON USB Printer

I have a new COMPAQ Presario and am trying to connect an EPSON ink jet printer
to it. The installation always fails. I have looking in "Device Manager" under
"Universal Serial Bus controllers" and all is well - except that "USB Printing
Support" is not listed. Now here's the wierd part. The printer worked just
fine last week - I have not installed anything on the system except MS patches
and updates. I have done a search and found that "USBPrint.SYS" is in
....\system32\drivers and is a new version.

Please help - I need to print some resumes.....
