Can someone tell me if it is possible to NOT keep memory
of what is typed when you are searching the internet for
something?? I don't mean the history folder.....what I
mean is when you start typing what you may be looking for
everything that you have searched for previously comes up
as suggestions. Example:
Search for cats and dogs previously
New search start typing cats and the above comes up
automatically as a suggestion in the new search.
I hope this makes some sense lol.....thank you in advance
for any help you can give me.

It's called AutoComplete and you can find it at Internet Options, Content
tab, Autocomplete. You can uncheck what you want.

Thank you very much for your help. One more question,
how do I clear what is already there?

Kelly, I thought that clearing history in the general tab of internet
options would do that.
