Last school year I created several spreadsheets
containing the names and the numerical grades of students
and sucessfully calculated an average grade for each
student. This year the average results are not correct.
What has happened?

John,
It sounds to me like you have a bunch of below average students this
year! (Seriously though, you might get a better answer by posting to the
"microsoft.public.excel.misc" or "microsoft.public.excel.new users" groups.)
Hope this helps,
Milt

1. inspect your code. there is a bug, or it is computing averages
differently than you think.
2. Re-read the help on how the averaging works. compute the averages by
hand and compare again.
3. Check the spreadsheet's developer's web site for more information,
or ask questions on their newsgroups.
