Last week I had windows Millenium replaced with Windows
XP Professional. In the past I could turn off my printer
to stop it, I would then receive an error message with
the option of "cancel" in it. Now I only have a "pause"
option. If I turn the printer off manually, it resumes
printing the document, even if I wait days before turning
the printer back on. HOW do I cancel a print command in
Windows XP Professional?

You open the printer icon in the System Tray and cancel the job. If
your printer has an internal buffer, you cannot cancel the part of
the job already stored in the printer buffer. You can clear that by
turning off the printer once the job has been cancelled on the
computer.
