The following dll is missing:
fxscfgwz.dll

According to the Microsoft website, this is the Microsoft
Fax Configuration Wizard, which should be located in the
WinXp \i386 subdirectory. I can't even find this
subdirectory?

You need to pay attention to the type of installation of Windows XP you are
using. Was it an OEM install? If so, only your OEM can solve this.

On some OEM precopy installs, if you do a search for the files that the
Microsoft components install wizard says are missing - fxsapi.dll and
fxcfgwz.dll - you won't find them, but you will find fxsapi.dl_ and
fxcfgwz.dl_. These are apparently compressed DLL files. Try looking for all
the files starting with fx with a .dl_ extension in the folder i386 and
double click on them. You will get a prompt for which file to use to open
them. Click on BROWSE and select Win32 Cabinet Self-Extractor which is in
the system folder. With any luck it will uncompress them all and make them
visible as .dll files.

The install wizard still may not find these files. If so, then you must
manually direct the installation routine to the I 386 folder that contains
these now extracted files.
