i have trouble printing from note pad or word pad.i have
trouble printing anything except what i have
scaned.please help help me.

Uninstall and reinstall the printer:

There are three separate steps and all three must be complete for XP to
'see' the new drivers.

Disconnect the printer.

Go into the Control Panel, Add/Remove programs and uninstall any printer,
fax and scanner
software.

Then go to Printers & Faxes and right click and delete your printer.

Reboot the PC. Do NOT reconnect the printer. Go back to Printers & Faxes
in the Control Panel and from the toolbar, select File, Server Properties.

In the drivers tab, delete all the entries for the printer and scanner.

Then right click on My Computer on the Desktop, select Properties and click
on the Hardware tab... then Device Manager. Find the entry for Imaging
Devices and click on the + to expand the tree. Ensure there are no entries
under the original line. If there are, right click and select Uninstall.

Reboot the PC. Do NOT reconnect the printer.

Download a new set of drivers from the printer manufacturer's website at
http://tinyurl.com/5xi0

Follow the instructions at the printer manufacturer's website and only
connect the printer when the software tells you to do so.

If that doesn't help, please post back and state the exact nature of the
'trouble' you are having!
