No wizard, no printers

I have the exact same problem. I've got a 1.5 Gig Pentium
IV using XP Home. This problem has only come up in the
past couple of weeks. I also get an error message when
using the "File - Print" command in IE 6. However, if I
use the "Print" icon or print through print preview, I can
print without a problem. Strange.

Both of you: try running "sfc /scannow" from a command line. Probably some
installer replaced printui.dll, which hosts the Printers folder and the
common print dialog (which IE uses, but not e.g. Word).

I'd appreciate it if you could let me know whether that fixed the problem.
Bonus points if you check the event viewer to see which files were restored
in the process.
