Lost Files after Blaster Windows XP Patch - $200 for a solution

First of all, restore should have been turned OFF before
running Blaster patch. The blaster would be in your
restore files and hence after you restored, it would be
back on your system. I could find and/or retrieve the
folder for you, but I'd have to Remote connect to you -
if you have broadband. Did you follow the patch
instructions carefully before installing? It turns file
sharing off because it has to remove worm at a local
level.

Like the average user, I didn't read the instructions and just 'ok'
through the install. I'd be happy to setup remote access (I do have
broadband).
