administrator passwords

When trying to write to my CDRW/DVD, it says I need
administrator access when I try to do the operation (not
sure why). However, I do not recall entering an admin
password on this system so, of course, I don't know what
it is. How do I recover or change an admin pasword when I
don't know it? Thanks

Hi,

If you never setup an administrator password, then it should be <blank> and
you should be able to simply hit <enter> to continue.
