I just got a new XP computer and set up a wireles
network. The second PC on the network is running ME. I
have an HP 810C Printer connected to the XP computer. It
previously was connected to an Win 98 PC and worked fine
within the network. hen I set it up for sharing there was
a message about "if you're running another PC with a
previous version of Windows" you may want to add
additional drivers. I tried but it doesn't seem to want
to take. And, of course, I now can't seem to print from
the ME PC. Is this doable or am I trying to do something
not possible. Thanks in advance.

On the XP PC ....Download the 810c's WindowsME drivers from
http://tinyurl.com/8m4m and click on the exe file to expand the files into a
temporary folder. It may try and start an install, cancel it if it does so.

Go back to the screen for adding the additional drivers and when it asks
where they are, point it to the temporary folder that was just created. It
should now find and install the additional drivers for the Windows9x/ME
operating system.
