Problems after upgrade

I upgraded from Windows Me to Windows XP, and now some of
my programs won't open and I can't uninstall any programs.
Does anyone know what is wrong?

Hi,

What happens when you try to do either of those?
Are you running from an Admin or user level account?
What did the compatibility check say about these programs before upgrading?
Are there any error messages?
