I am currently running Windows 98SE. I have Excel and
Word. If I upgrade to Windows XP Home Edition will I still
have Excel and Word?

No they are not part of the Operating System you would have to reinstall
them.

No, this isn't correct. True, they are not part of the operating
system, but that doesn't mean you have to reinstall them. When
doing an upgrade, application software remains in place.

Sorry my mistake Ken, I just automatically posted because of all the post
you see where people have installed the OS and want to know where their
programs are. <g>
