You can't. Those option have to be there so that users
can log on to messenger using net password or microsoft
exchange.
What you actually downloaded was Windows messenger not
msn messenger. However, you can download msn messenger
6.0 which allows you to log on normally. If you decide to
download msn messenger 6.0 you must remember that it
doesn't get rid of windows messenger 5.0. Providing you
have two seperate passport email addresses you can use
both together. The easiest thing to do is disable windows
messenger 5.0 from Tools>Options>General Tab. Disable the
option 'automatically run messenger when windows starts'.
Now install msn messenger 6.0 and this will run instead.
You might get the odd prompt about setting up your
passport for messenger, but as you are already using a
passport this popup will soon disappear. The only other
problem is everytime you log on a new window appears
called 'msn today' Again this can be disabled from the
options/general tab. The option you need to diable
is 'display msn today when messenger signs in'

Hope this helps
