To whomever that feels my pain, I am a novice and please
answer this question by e-mail, as I will never be able to
find the answer on this website. Until recently, whenever
I was notified that updates were to be installed, I just
clicked on install. HOWEVER, one day I got smart and
clicked on the Installation History. To my dismay I had
installed 811493 about ten times. Now each time I am
advised of a need update, yes, you are correct, it is
811493.If you were kind enough to wade through this poorly
contructed complaint, why am I getting this same update
all the time and how do I get rid of it???? I have tried
clicking the Remove button and talking to Microsoft with
no results. (Microsoft said I could talk to a tech for
$35.00) If this is the cyberworld, who can afford it?
Thanks for reading and also for your help if you are so
inclined.
