Can Anyone Recommend a Printer

I have a Epson C40UX and its about to call it quits.
Could anyone recommend a printer thats compatible with
Windows Home XP 56k cable modem. I want something in the
$100-150 range and something that prints quietly because
the Epson I have is so loud I cant print anything at
night. And, something that prints a little faster.TIA

If you have a 56k cable modem, you have larger problems
than a noisy printer, but have a look at the Canon S820.
Faster and quieter than your Epson, and can be had new
on eBay for around $100.

What does a printer (any printer!) have to do with a cable modem? They are
two completely separate pieces of hardware and not related in anyway.
