Add a printer is part of your OS - If you can't access the
printer wizard then your having windows issues.

If XP installs this printer (Meaning it picks it up and
installs it without the CD for the printer)

Then you are gonna need to reload windows.

I have yet to see a printer problem that requires a re-install of Windows XP
to correct. Most problems, including most errant printer drivers, can be
corrected even without restarting Windows XP.
