I have a HP 820cxi printer that does not work with the XP
drivers (printer works fine with Win98 have both systems
on computer with two part hard drive)Are there drivers
available any where? The floppies that came with the
printer just will not load. Cannot see where HP has
anything on its site they just tell you to use the XP
drivers. When you print the result is just hot readable.

JDF ...

HP has elected not to update drivers for its older printers, of which yours is one ... the XP drivers will
provide basic functions but you've lost advanced features that you were used to (ie double sided printing,
etc.) ... sorry.

I notice that, running the Add New Printer Wizard in XP, that your printer is listed under 'HP' in the
manufacturers listing. Are you saying that these will not work?
