Cannot enter Standby.
Sometimes get message to update modem driver,but
upgrading did not help.
Cannot enter Standby from Start buton

Hi,

Lack of the standby function indicates a driver doesn't support it. If
upgrading the indicated driver does not help, it may work to rollback to an
earlier version. Sometimes, there simply is no solution and you will not be
able to use standby.

This is a failsafe. If drivers are not compatible, standby is not allowed.
There's nothing to "fix." All you can do is keep an eye out for updates to
your drivers. Hopefully one will come along that restores standby
functionality. If this is a laptop or tablet, where standby is imperative
for preserving battery life, consult the manufacturer.
