The missing or corrupt files message is a general error
dialog that is used for all cases of installation
failure. Basically, something went wrong with the
installation (not necessarily missing or corrupt files).
If you installed the drivers from the vendor's CD, but
didn't use the Vendor's Setup from the CD. Try running
the vendor's Setup from the CD; some vendor's drivers and
installation require that things be installed in a
particular order, which adding from the Print Folder's
Add Printer icon may not do. Also, some vendor's setup
require that the installation be invoked by the PnP after
installing the drivers.
Follow the vendor's installation directions. Amazingly
enough, the directions usually work. :)
