Actually, aside from NT, XP is the most stable operating
system out there. Your problem is not related to the
opsys, but to the particular file itself associated with
the Help and Support option. You may check Administrative
Tools/Services from Control panel to see that Help &
Support is turned on or disabled. You may also want to
reinstall XP to ensure all those non working Kelly's
Korner patches haven't screwed things up more. A
reinstall/repair of XP will definitely correct the
problem. Also, you should have a year of phone support
available from Dell. The 30 days only applies to hardware
replacements as far as I know. I paid an extra 110
dollars for lifetime phone support, but the standard is 1
year, so check that first before reinstalling/repairing
