If you're referring to overlapping icons then do the
following:
1. Right click a blank area of desktop
2. Click properties from the menu
3. Click the Appearance tab
4. Click the Advanced button at bottom right
5. Click the drop down Item menu and scroll down to Icon
Spacing Horizontal and Icon Spacing Veritcal and increase
both these values in the Size box.
6. Click OK, click OK on main popup
See if this helps. You may have to play with the size
numbers to get it just right - not too much space between
icons compared to not enough so that it looks good to you.
