Hi Mary,
To do what you want to do, I recommend Windows XP Word,
it costs a little bit, but well worth the investment for
all that you are trying to do. Wordpad is a very simple
text editor. Not trying to sell anything, but I go to
college and that is what I use, could not live without it
myself.
