I have a 2000 professional pc with a HP4 printer installed
on the LPT1 port --- works fine
I have a XP home edition pc on the same network.
I add the HP4 printer to my XP pc and it gets connected
just fine. I am able to print reports to it OK!
WHEN I restart the XP pc the hp4 printer gives me an error
that it cannot finish the communication connection and I
cannot print to it. When I added the printer on the xp -
it asked me if I wanted to save user name & password -
that box was checked.
Any help would be appreciated
