I am receiving an "NTLDR is missing" error message upon
booting my XP system on an SATA RAID 1 set. I made sure
that the primary partition on this set is active, and XP
was installed on this set.
KB Article #315261 suggests that you make sure the NTLDR
file is loaded on the active partition, and I confirmed
that. WinXP will boot, however, when I have an IDE drive
connected along with the RAID 1 set. Both the IDE and
RAID set have NTFS formatted partitions. Thanks in
advance for any help you can provide.
