I think I have the answer to the xp network woes. I had
to fool the xp network setup by telling it that I do not
have access to the internet (altough I do through a
lynksys) and that all my computers were connected to each
other through a hub. This turned off xp's firewall
function and allowed my 98 machine to print to the xp
connected to my laserjet. You also need to have xp and 98
drivers loaded in 'sharing' additional drivers. Add the
xp printer from the 98 machine via your intranet. As long
as you have a firewall between your LAN and the internet
you'll be fine. Hope this helps. Later, Luke.
