Live Updates

I cannot receive much needed Office Updates because the
company that sold me Office 2000 went out of business and
I do not have the discs. Any suggestions?

If Office was on the computer when you purchased it from a reseller,
there should be distribution CDs or "recovery" cds provided or the files
present on the computer's hard drive-sometimes in a "hidden" partition.
Check these possibilities.

If it was a full retail Office package and if you registered Office with
Microsoft when it was installed, contact Microsoft for a replacement CD.

You might find that installation of many requires insertion of an Office
CD.
