Recycle Bin icon gone from desk top

Don't know how it happened. How can I get it back or a the
least empty it. Running over. HELP HELP

If you go into Windows Explorer, you should find the Recycle Bin at
bottom of the list. Right-click it to see a number of options,
including empty..

To restore the icon to the desktop, you can use TweakUI under the
desktop tab. Or, a somewhat roundabout way (while in Windows Explorer)
is to drag the Recycle Bin icon to the start button, which will place
it on the start menu. Then drag it from there onto the desktop.
