Is is possible to attach several ink jet printes to a
computer running XP via a USB hub? Will the operating
system act as a print spooler and send a file to the next
available printer? Thanks.

Yes.... and no.

It is possible to use several inkjet printers on XP.

It will send the output to the printer you specify, not use each one in
turn.

Windows XP always spools print documents.

You can turn on "printer pooling", which should accomplish what you want, if
all of the printers can use the same printer driver.

1. Open Printers and Faxes
2. right click on the printer you want the user to print to and select
Properties
3. select the Ports tab
4. add a check mark to Enable printer pooling
5. add a check mark to the the "ports" to which the other printers are
attached

It is perfectly useless to know the right answer to the wrong question.

I see the same check box in Win2000. Does this mean I can
use multiple printers in this OS, too.

Thanks.

Yes. If I remember correctly, it was in NT 4 as well.
