Sorry, that was for files. MS is getting worse not better
at the basic stuff.
Pop-up folder tips will only do some of what you want:
menu Tools > Options > View > Advanced settings: [on]
="Display file size information in folder tips".
I'm looking for the old DOS DIR command, with its sort
capability, & text output for complex file set simple
annotation.
