printer fail

I got a virus and ever since when I try to print of my
Lexmark x75 the following error comes up
"printer cannot communicate with the computer"...check
cable connection. any help out there.

Try one more total uninstall and reinstall of the printer using the
instructions at:
http://www.coribright.com/Windows/Article%20One.htm

Check the cable is correctly installed and securely attached.
