Hi,
my system restore does not function at all. I can not go
back at all.
If anyone can help, please do so. Thank you.

This usually indicates the SR file store is corrupted. The fix is to turn
off System Restore. reboot, turn it back on and reboot. You will loose all
previous restore points but at the moment they are useless to you anyway.
Open Control Panel, open System, go to the System Restore tab, place a check
next to "Turn off System Restore on all drives," click apply and ok and
reboot. Return to the same area, remove the check, click apply and ok and
reboot.
Once finished you might want to make a manual restore point and then see if
you can restore to that point to be sure it is functioning again.
