Is there any way to use my perfectly good epson stylus
color printer with windows xp? I can't afford to upgrade
to a newer printer, and I don't have a driver disk for
it. thanks.

As I can't possibly know which of the 200+ models of ESC you own I couldn't
possibly say. Windows does have native drivers for many ESC printers,
however these are basic and you will lose much of the functionality of the
Epson driver. There is nothing you can do about this. If it's important you
keep some of this functionality, then your only choice is to purchase a
newer printer.

There are printer drivers for many Stylus printer models on the XP
distribution CD. Use the "Add a printer wizard" to install them. There are
drivers for many of the more recent models on the Epson web site.

Generally, if there is one on the web site for XP, it has better support of
the printer's features than the more basic driver supplied with XP.
Let us know the particular printer model if you want more deteils.
