Sounds like you have that worm...about the RPC that shuts
your computer down...you click on start, then run, in the
open box type "services.msc then click the o.k.
button..In the list of services scroll to the bottom and
double click the first "remote procedure" entry...click
the "recovery" tab. For all the failure dropdowns, click
to select "take no action". Click the o.k. button to apply
the changes. This will disable the RPC so you can get on
line to take care of any problems...After wich you can
then follow these same directions to reenable the RPC.
