Printless

I did an upgrade from ME to XP and now my printer will not
work. I went into system information and it shows the HP
desktop 930C series in LPT1, but when I went to the HP
site to try and DL a driver it says no HP printer
recognized. My PC is about 2 1/2 years old and is a
Gateway. Please help me. :)

You first need to uninstall the printer, before you can reinstall it. The
problem was caused in the first instance by keeping the printer connected
during the upgrade from WinME to XP, it should have been disconnected before
you started.
