Printing Preferences

I put on xp pro upgrade from M E....I reinstalled my
printer as befere a Lexmark X83 .....but my wife had
downloaded a driver somehow for a z42 & z43 I think and I
cannot remove them from the cpu it seems ....as I loaded
the printer disc and it began to run it warned me to
remove exixting versions etc but I could not .......so I
put on the software that came with the printer as it was
on the milenium and I can't get anything to work.....it
tells me it cannot comunicate with the printer.....and
sometimes says the both cartriges a missing etc.
I made sure the printer was on etc as started to load the
software I unplugged the usb to the printer as
directed.....I also went in to control panel and removed
the Lexmark X83 stuff and loaded it all again but as I
said I was never able to remove the first and second
versions of lexmark Z42 etc.
so maybe it never took or I need a driver for Lexmark
X83 to work with XP Pro.....the printer always worked
before I loaded Xp Pro so I do not know whar is up please
help.......tom

Disconnect printer from PC......

Do your standard uninstall that you've done before, but then include Step 4
from my website at:
