I am attempting to use my fax capabilities for the first
time & find that I cannot preview my fax. I scan my
document using HP's Precision Scan & send it to "printer"
& then in "preferences," choose fax. Then XP's Fax Wizard
automatically opens up. I follow that through & just
before pressing "finish" to send my fax, I
press "preview." At that point, Adobe Phohto Deluxe
Business Edition opens up automatically & I get the
following error message:
Could not open

Faxes are tif files. Can you change the default tif viewer to "Windows
Picture and Fax viewer" and see if it works?

Steps to acheive this is:

Control Panel - >Folder options -> File Types.
Select tif and change the default application to use to open these files as
"Windows Picture and Fax Viewer"

Let us know if this worked out.

Thanks
