Widescreen?

Is there anyway of burning videos on a vcd in a widescreen format? The
videos i burn are high quality but nero burns it ful screen so on the tv it
doesnt look as good. Is there a burning program that uses widescreen format
or any program to encode my videos into widescreen format?
