My address book has become corrupted and will not
interface with other program and keeps dropping contacts.
Can you please tell me how to remove the old one and
install a "clean" address book? Thanks for your
assistance.

Close Outlook Express and the Addressbook if it is open
Do a search in Documents and Settings for *.wab (this/these are your
Addressbook(s))
Rename the corrupt addressbook extension to .old For example I rename
Harry.wab to Harry.old
When you launch Outlook Express it will create a new blank Addressbook.
You might want to try exporting the data in the current Addressbook and then
importing it into the new addressbook.
Before you rename the .wab file open it and go to File->Export->Addressbook
After you rename the .wab as above and have launched Outlook Express
creating the new Addressbook you can open it and select
File->Import->Addressbook and import those addresses into the new book.
Saves some typing.
