Reinstalling updated drivers for both drives is probably
your best bet. If that doesn't work you might need to
install the controllers themselves, which is done the
same way as the drivers.
A quick way of checking what migh be wrong is by going...
Start/Control Panel/System
Then in the System box go to the Hardware tab
And click on the Device Manager button
Once in there, expand your devices, the + sign like in
explorer. If any of the cascading information has a
yellow warning sign, then it means that driver or
controller is not set up properly
