First of all thank you good people. You were very helpful
the last time.

My hard disk is divided into "C" & "D".
After upgrading my computer, a new motherboard, "C" was
formatted and installing Windows XP, I have on "C" & "D" a
very large file "System Volume Information"
It almost took the all "D"
What is this file? (It looks like it contained my old
files), can I delete them?

Thank you

It is system restore info. Open System Restore, system restore
settings, and set how much space you want to allocate to system
restore info on each partition. To delete the old system restore
info, probably the easiest way is just to turn off system restore on
all drives, reboot, then turn it on again on the drives/partitions you
want to monitor.
