I had the same problem this morning and I got it fixed!
The problem is that there is still print jobs waiting in
the print queue, maybe a test page that wasn't printed.
Just cancel the document that is waiting to be printed.
The printer with status deleting will disappear by
itself. I am a new user on XP (as of last night) and I am
trying to add it to my D-Link wireless network.
Good Luck.
