'printscreen' key - click on for - 'fullscreen image'
'alt+printscreen' keys/simul - " - 'active window image'
they are temporarily stored in the 'clipboard/clipbrd.exe'
open - msword/paint/adobe acrobat/etc
and
paste-in - to display your 'copied image'/
save/save as - to file it/
and
you can then - recall it - print it - etc
note
clipboard/clipbrd.exe - should be activated - ie
go start/run - clipbrd.exe/
and
take it fr there

Translation :)

Press PrtScr to copy the entire screen, or Alt-PrtScr for just the
active Window. Then open a program that can accept images such as Word,
Paintbrush, Picture It,...etc and click on File>Paste or hit Ctrl-V.
