Since up grading to XP Professional (Its been a disaster
for me) and using Microsoft Outlook I am unable to access
or create an address book. Outlook just freezes.

In addition I get a message "unable to access microsoft
LDAP" ?.

I would certainly appreciate some guidance on resolving
this issue.

PS: Anyone want a "Dud" expensive CD of XP Professional
before I throw it out ? or ship it back to Sir Bill.

This is only one of several problems I have.

Best that you go to the Outlook newsgroups for assistance. Ensure you
tell folks the version of Outlook you have, if you are using Outlook or
Outlook express, etc. Also explain the errors the computer reports which
the program and XP reports when you are trying to work with the address
book. You don't give enough information to enable anyone to help.

Note: LDAP standa for "Lighweight Directory Access Program". Your
configuration is trying to point to some directory. Re-check you
rconfiguration.
