where can u make changes to dialing rules for fax's

I use windows xp home edition and am in need of a little
guidance as far as how to send long distance faxes. where
can one make changes to the dialing rules. I can't get my
faxes to dial a 1+ the number and can't seem to find
where to provision for this, help plz!

Like all of its predecessors, the Windows XP Fax service will not process
dialing rules unless the phone number to which you are sending the fax is in
"international format." Details on how to use international format to invoke
dialing rules are available here:
