I have exhausted all ideas I have on resolving this
problem. We have several computers that have been
updated to Windows XP from Windows 98. Each computer has
at least 2 network laser printers on it that I installed
after the upgrade. The problem is that several times a
day, the system stops printing. The little printer icon
shows up in the system tray very quickly and disappears,
but never prints anything. If I change the default
printer to the second installed printer and then back to
the one I want to use, it will begin printing again when
I retry. I was told to try the procedure at
http://www.coribright.com/Windows/Article%20One.htm to
completely remove and re-install the printers, but this
did not resolve the problem. Any more ideas?
