Removing printers.

Running Windows XP in our 2003/2000 server environment. One of my users
have trouble with one of the printers. Therefore I want to remove all
drivers to that printer.

First I delete the printer from the computer in the Add printer/fax window.

Then I will remove the files that belong to that printer on the computer.
Right click with the mouse in the same window and select Printer Server
properties, then the Drivers tab. Select to remove the files and receive the
following message:

Unable to remove "Printer name, Intel, Windows 2000 or XP driver: The
specified printer driver is currently in use.

I have set another default printer, unplugged the network connection but are
still getting the same message.

How can I remove this f.. printer from that computer?

Try deleting all files from the spool directory on that computer. Then
delete the printer.

The spool directory is usually
c:\windows\system32\spool\printers

Let us know.
