I am contemplating purchase of a new computer with
Microsoft Windows XP Home Version.
Will Microsoft Office 97 work on the XP? I now have
Office 97 running on Windows 98. Office was purchased
separately from the computer.

Hey Robert,

I'm not sure if Office 97 would work with Windows XP Home Version. However,
you should try installing it and see if it runs stable.

You can still use the same Office that is installed on Windows 98.

I installed Office 97 on my computer that runs Windows XP Home Edition
and it is fine. Absolutely no problems at all.
