print problem

I have a problem printing from msword,wordpad and notepad
the pages come out blank. If i try to print from floppy
it frezzes as it does when i try to print any document
from my computer.But my printer is fine when i print any
thing from the web.
Any hep on this problem will be welcome,thanks.
